Hi, Im Hudson! I'm looking for an experienced owner, because I am very strong, and sometimes determined if I really want something. When I first came to the shelter, I was still recovering from an embedded collar. I have made pretty much a full recovery from my injury. I need to be walked with a harness or special collar that sits high on my neck, as I start coughing whenever there is pressure near where that darn collar was embedded. I will require an active owner because I am high energy, but I love to be around people! I can be dominant around other dogs, but as long as they ignore me, I don't usually have an issue. I would love to play with cats, but the staff at the shelter tell me that my idea of "play" is not acceptable! I'm very smart and know several commands; sit, wait, and am working on heal. I can wave, (which is what I'm doing in my third picture) and my human friend Glenda has taught me several other commands because I love to learn new things! I also love to play with kongs and other toys that are not easily destroyed. I'm very agile and love to be king of the mountain! Whenever I'm outside in my kennel or with people, I try to find the highest point to climb to (usually my dog house or picnic table).
